resume.coffee is an AI-powered career platform that provides the following features: - Resume Builder — Create and edit professional resumes using customizable templates - AI-Powered Optimization — Generate professional summaries, optimize experience descriptions, and receive skill suggestions using artificial intelligence (Google Generative AI) - Cover Letter Generator — Create tailored cover letters with AI assistance - Application Tracker — Track your job applications and their status - Interview Preparation — Tools and resources to help you prepare for interviews - PDF Export — Export your resumes and cover letters as professionally formatted PDF documents The Service is provided on a tiered basis, with certain features available only to users with paid subscriptions. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with reasonable notice where practicable.

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account. Account authentication is managed via Firebase Authentication. When registering, you agree to: - Provide accurate, current, and complete information - Maintain and promptly update your account information - Keep your login credentials confidential and secure - Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account - Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account You may not create multiple accounts, share your account with others, or transfer your account to another person without our prior written consent. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that we reasonably believe violate these Terms or are being used fraudulently.

4. Subscription and Payments

Tier Structure The Service is offered in multiple tiers: - Free Tier (Tier 0) — Limited access to features, including restricted AI requests and basic export capabilities - Paid Tiers (Tier 1 and Tier 2) — Enhanced access to features, including increased AI request limits, advanced export options, and additional templates Payment Processing All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By subscribing to a paid tier, you agree to Stripe's terms of service. We do not store your full payment card information on our servers. Pricing and Billing - Subscription prices are displayed on our website at the time of purchase and are stated in the applicable currency - Paid subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, depending on your chosen plan) - You authorize us to charge your payment method on each billing cycle Auto-Renewal Paid subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. You will be charged the then-current subscription price upon renewal. Cancellation - You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings - Upon cancellation, you retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period - No refunds are provided for partial billing periods, except where required by applicable law Price Changes We reserve the right to change subscription prices. We will provide you with at least 30 days' notice before any price increase takes effect. Continued use of the Service after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new price. Your Content You retain full ownership of all content you create using the Service, including but not limited to resumes, cover letters, professional summaries, and any other documents or data you input ("User Content"). We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your User Content. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process and store your User Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. This license terminates when you delete your content or your account. Our Intellectual Property The Service, including its design, code, templates, graphics, and branding, is owned by dataWorks GmbH and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service without our prior written consent. Template Designs Resume and cover letter templates provided by the Service are licensed for your personal use within the Service. The formatted output (your completed resume or cover letter) is yours to use without restriction.

6. AI-Generated Content

The Service uses artificial intelligence (powered by Google Generative AI) to provide features such as professional summary generation, experience description optimization, skill suggestions, and cover letter generation. Important disclaimers regarding AI-generated content: - AI-generated suggestions are provided as recommendations only and should be reviewed, edited, and verified by you before use - We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, appropriateness, or suitability of any AI-generated content - You are solely responsible for reviewing and approving any AI-generated content before including it in your documents - AI-generated content should not be relied upon as factual statements about your qualifications, experience, or skills — you must ensure all information in your resume is truthful and accurate - AI-generated content may occasionally produce results that are generic, irrelevant, or inappropriate for your specific situation By using AI features, you acknowledge that the final responsibility for the content of your resume, cover letter, or any other document lies with you. dataWorks GmbH accepts no liability for any consequences arising from your use of AI-generated suggestions. AI feature usage is subject to limits based on your subscription tier.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to: - Create, store, or distribute content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable - Misrepresent your qualifications, experience, or identity in a manner that constitutes fraud - Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or any other harmful code - Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other users' accounts, or our systems - Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, etc.) to access or interact with the Service without our prior written consent - Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security features of the Service - Use the Service for any commercial purpose other than creating your own career documents, without our prior written consent - Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service or any part thereof - Abuse AI features by submitting excessive, automated, or bad-faith requests designed to circumvent tier limits - Violate any applicable law or regulation We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and remove your content if we determine, in our sole discretion, that you have violated these Terms.

8. Data Protection and Privacy

9. Account Termination and Data Deletion

Termination by You You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. Termination by Us We may suspend or terminate your account if: - You violate these Terms - Your account is used for fraudulent or illegal activity - We are required to do so by law - We discontinue the Service (with reasonable notice) Automatic Deletion of Inactive Accounts Accounts without an active paid subscription that remain inactive for 30 consecutive days will be automatically deleted, along with all associated data. We will attempt to notify you via email before such deletion occurs. Effect of Termination Upon termination or deletion of your account: - Your access to the Service is immediately revoked - Your User Content is permanently deleted (except as required by law) - Any active subscription is cancelled, with no refund for the remaining billing period unless required by applicable law - These Terms survive termination with respect to provisions that by their nature should survive (including limitation of liability, intellectual property, and governing law)

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law: - dataWorks GmbH shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Service - Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim - We are not liable for any loss, damage, or missed opportunity arising from reliance on AI-generated content, resume templates, or any other output produced by the Service - We are not liable for any interruption, delay, or unavailability of the Service due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for: - Death or personal injury caused by our negligence - Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation - Any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable EU or Swiss law

11. Disclaimer of Warranties
